Man, I saw classic 1957 decor in Yellowstone last week at the Canyon Lodge. I think the Park Service is embarrassed by it and is discussing whether they can replace it with something more rustic–or whether it’s too late and they now have to call it historic. Searched all over to find you a picture on the web…

Dig the light fixtures. Those are speakers on top piping vintage muzak into the cafeteria.
OMG! Is that like “Catholic Homes – Light”? LOL
I wonder how the residents would feel if the decor reverted back to this? Their current decor is much too dark…. Just think, people pay prime dollar to fetch this same look. Awesome pictures!
Believe it or not, that place is still old and out of touch with their residents, the care they offer,the management and decor! Some things never change!
